The financial control of the project begins with an estimate based on clear information. At Rawlinsons we utilise our inhouse historic database and researched current pricing to provide up to date cost estimates. Our database is enhanced by the data used to compose the Rawlinsons New Zealand Construction Handbook. This information is available to all staff on line. We work from established principles to provide clients with the most appropriate budget for projects.

Working with designers during the design development phase to produce a cost plan is the first principle to developing the most fitting design for any project. Merging the cost plan information and design with life cycle costing exercises and value management workshop ensures that our clients are offered the most cost effective and suitable design for any project.

Cashflow predictions and procurement methods can again be considered along with the cost plan to provide the most appropriate construction route.
